Every year we run the Cardinal's Hat Stage in Friar Street at part of the free entertainment programme for the ever-popular Worcester Victorian Christmas Fayre, plus a pop-up Beer Festival at nearby Tudor House Museum.

The Cardinal’s Hat Stage THURSDAY 4 DEC

12noon & 1pm

BETSY HARMONY

Betsy brings a gorgeous blend of classic songs, timeless carols, and vintage-style takes on all your festive favourites. A warm, sparkling set with something for everyone - guaranteed to get you into the Christmas spirit.

 

2pm & 3pm

MUMRUFFINS

Classics from the Irish and English folk canon with Billy & Trudie. And the name? It’s a colloquial

Worcestershire term for long-tailed tits - we’re keen bird-watchers, after all!”

 

4pm & 5.15pm

DEREK EYNON

Voice, guitar, and a touch of foot-tapping magic. Expect a wide and varied repertoire, from vintage classics to a few modern gems of the 2020s. Timeless favourites, crowd-pleasers and some relaxed festive vibes.

 

6.15 & 7.15pm

THE SAX PISTOLS

Funky brass & saxophone delivering the best in party pop, funk, and jazz. High energy,

big-groove fun.

A fun-filled festive set of well-known singalong Christmas carols interspersed with famous Music Hall numbers. Performed in Victorian costume this event will appeal to everyone young and old, light-hearted, humorous and fun.

 

1pm & 2pm

Internationally acclaimed jazz and vintage singer Betsy brings classic carols and festive favourites with a vintage twist - something for everyone to get into the Christmas spirit.

 

4pm & 5pm

FOREGATE STREET BROTHERS

A quirky and irreverent guitar/vocals duo, playing the lighter side of jazz from the 20’s to the 50’s, with a smattering of humorous originals and the occasional blues thrown in for good measure.

 

6pm & 7pm

Max Stockin is a singer, guitarist, and songwriter, blending classic ’50s and ’60s chord progressions with modern recording techniques to craft his distinctive sound.

 

5pm & 6pm

GRACE N' BETSY

A fresh duo singing favourite songs from the ’50s to today — rock, pop, disco, and a festive twist for everyone to enjoy!

The Jake Leg Jug Band bring you the authentic sounds of 1920's and 30's America - Jazz, Blues, Gospel, Ragtime - and put their own twist on it. Songs of murder, betrayal, gambling, liquor and

redemption.

TUDOR HOUSE BEER FESTIVAL

Check out our Winter Beer Festival in the Tudor House courtyard. An oasis of calm when you  need it, 8 real ales, trad ciders and more.
